A weekend of Switchfoot

Last weekend I had the incredible privilege of seeing Switchfoot twice in two days. The first gig was a secret one, and was in a Hurley store at the V&A Waterfront in the beautiful Cape Town. It was free (YES!) and Jon Foreman personally made an effort to meet and greet everyone there.

I was actually blown away by how humble they were, and it was such an honour to meet them. The second show was a show indeed. Even in the hyped up context of a concert, they still managed to make every person there feel like they were appreciatedm which impressed me to no end.

Apart from being amazing people, Switchfoot was musically INSAAAAAAAAAANE! They were above and  beyond my expectations . It was a truly wonderful weekend despite Cape Town's rather inhospitable weather.
