Movember meets Call Me Maybe

Movember is fast approaching and these two Capetonians (that form Derick Watts and the Sunday Blues) have reinvented "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen in the most awesome way.
This is (one of the many reasons) why I love being South African.

I think yes.

Green Wedding Shoes

Let's just face it: every girl, on some scale, loves to daydream about her perfect wedding.

{Mine involves a barn, twinkling lights and many rustic vintage-looking decorations. Peeps would be instagramming the crap out of it! Just so you know.}

Billions of women means a postivitely enormous array of ideas.
Miraculously, there is a website that has managed to gather and document pictures from hundreds of weddings (the themes vary from vintage to circus. Or vintage-circus in some cases) that took place all around our luverly globe, as well as offering really great advice on anything from decor to dress.
{not to mention how darn pretty the webdesign is}
I can't even begin to tell you how much time I've spent scrolling through this beautiful website... I don't want to actually. It's embarrassing.

So head on down to www.greenweddingshoes.com and have a squiz for yourself!

My words have done/will do no justice to the splendid pictures. So here are some of my favourites that will hopefully be as wondrous to you as they are to me.

We are kiddies!

So one of my best best beeeest friends turned seventeen a few weeks ago and four of us went with Jen (birthday girl) and her family to Spur to celebrate.
It was actually one of the greatest evenings of all time... It surely could not get better. Surely.

And then we found the balloons and bear masks.

BEAR MASKS! How sophisticated are we?

I saw this quote when I went to Durban's Holocaust Museum today on a History excursion and it really inspired me. I hope that it does the same for you:)

It was said by a young man who risked his life to hide about 20 Jews overall during the height of Hitler's reign.

"I only did a little. But if everyone had done a little, it would have added up to a lot."

- Uh, I forgot his name but I'm pretty sure his surname's "Armann". Sorry...
